The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the heaven of the constellations! 1 By the promised Day (of Judgment); 2 And the bearer of witness and those against whom the witness is borne. 3 the people of the pit were destroyed 4 the fire with its fuel, 5 When they sat by it, 6 And they were witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 and their revenge on them was only because they believed in Allah, the Almighty, the Praised, 8 Who, to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness over everything. 9 Those who persecuted the believing men and women and never repented, there is for them the punishment of Gehenna (Hell), and for them the punishment of the burning. 10 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds – for them are Gardens beneath which rivers flow; this is the great success. 11 VERILY, thy Sustainer's grip is exceedingly strong! 12 Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats. 13 and He is the Forgiving and Loving One. 14 Owner of the Throne, the Exalted. 15 Doer of what He will. 16 Has the story of the armies reached you, 17 Pharaoh and Thamood? 18 But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial, 19 although Allah surrounds them. 20 Aye! it is a Recitation glorious, 21 inscribed on a well-guarded Tablet. 22
