The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the sky, and by the nightly comer! 1 And what shall make thee know that which the night-comer is? 2 - The piercing Star! 3 There is no soul but that it has over it a protector. 4 So let man look - from what is he created. 5 He is created of water pouring forth, 6 Proceeding from between the backbone and the ribs: 7 Surely He is able to bring him back 8 on the Day when all secrets will be laid bare, 9 and [man] will have neither strength nor helper! 10 So I call to witness the rain-producing sky, 11 And the earth splitting (with plants); 12 this (Qur'an) is surely a decisive Word, 13 It is not a thing for amusement. 14 They are devising guile, 15 And I (too) am planning a plan. 16 So respite the unbelievers; delay with them awhile. 17
Almighty Allah's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
