The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the heaven and the night-comer 1 How will you comprehend what the night star is? 2 (It is) the star of piercing brightness; 3 There is no living being but there is a protector over it. 4 So let man observe from what he was created. 5 he was created of gushing water 6 issuing from between the backbone and the breastbone: 7 He certainly has the power to bring him back to life. 8 on the Day when all secrets will be laid bare, 9 [man] will have no power, and no helper. 10 By the rotating heavens 11 And the earth splitting (with plants); 12 That this (Qur'an) is a decisive word 13 And it is no joke. 14 Indeed the disbelievers carry out their evil schemes. 15 And I (too) am planning a plan. 16 So give a respite to the disbelievers. Deal thou gently with them for a while. 17
Almighty Allah's Truth.
End of Surah: The Comet (Al-Taareq). Sent down in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
