The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
