The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 who determined and guided, 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
