The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 Who determines and directs, 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
