The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
