The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
