Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
HAS NEWS OF the Overpowering Event reached you? 1 On that day the faces of some people will be humbly cast down, 2 laboring, wornout, 3 (Yet) Going into the blazing fire. 4 their drink shall be from a boiling spring. 5 No food will there be for them but a bitter Dhari' 6 that will neither nourish nor satisfy their hunger. 7 [And] some faces will on that Day shine with bliss, 8 Pleased with their striving,- 9 They shall be in a Garden lofty: 10 hearing there no babble; 11 Therein will be a running spring, 12 Wherein are couches raised 13 and goblets set forth 14 And cushions set in a row, 15 And silken carpets spread. 16 Then do they not look at the camels - how they are created? 17 And at the sky - how it is raised? 18 And at the mountains - how they are erected? 19 and how the earth is spread out? 20 Then remind them! Thou art only a reminder; 21 Thou art not over them a warden. 22 However, as for him who turns away, being bent on denying the truth, 23 God shall chastise him with the greatest chastisement. 24 Lo! unto Us is their return 25 Ours is surely then to reckon with them. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
