The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the forenoon (after sun-rise); 1 and by the night when it darkens, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased, 3 for, indeed, the life to come will be better for thee than this earlier part [of thy life]! 4 And soon will your Lord give you so that you shall be well pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And He found thee wandering, and He gave thee guidance. 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 And repulse not the beggar; 10 But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim! 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
