The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the white forenoon 1 and by the calm of night, 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee nor doth He hate thee, 3 And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and protect (thee)? 6 Did He not find you unaware of the Right Way, and then directed you to it? 7 And did He not find you in want, and then enriched you? 8 Do not oppress the orphans 9 And as to the beggar, chide thou him not. 10 And as to the favour of thine Lord, discourse thou thereof. 11
