The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the midmorning, 1 And the night when dark and still, 2 Your Lord (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) has neither forsaken you nor hated you. 3 And indeed the Hereafter is better for you than the present (life of this world). 4 Verily your Lord will soon give you so amply that you will be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan, so provided you shelter? 6 Did He not find you unaware of the Right Way, and then directed you to it? 7 And found thee in want, and given thee sufficiency? 8 Therefore, as for the orphan, do not oppress (him). 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim! 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa). Sent down in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
