Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the morning brightness, 1 And by the Night when it is still,- 2 Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 And indeed, in time will thy Sustainer grant thee [what thy heart desires,] and thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) an orphan and gave you a refuge? 6 Did He not find you a wanderer so He guided you? 7 And He found thee destitute, so He enriched thee. 8 Do not oppress the orphans 9 And as for him who asks, do not chide (him), 10 and proclaim the bounties of your Lord. 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
