The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

I CALL TO witness the early hours of morning, 1 and by the calm of night, 2 Thy Sustainer has not forsaken thee, nor does He scorn thee: 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 Thy Lord shall give thee, and thou shalt be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find you wandering, and give you guidance? 7 Did He not find you poor and suffice you? 8 Therefore, the orphan shalt thou never wrong, 9 And do not rebuke the beggar. 10 and proclaim the bounties of your Lord. 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
