Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

۞ Did We not widen your bosom? 1 And removed from thee thy burden 2 Which weighed down thy back; 3 And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)? 4 So, verily, with every difficulty, there is relief: 5 Lo! with hardship goeth ease; 6 Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard, 7 And to thy Lord turn (all) thy attention. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
