The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with her (violent) shaking, 1 And the earth throws out its burdens, 2 And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- 3 On that Day will she declare her tidings: 4 Because your Lord had inspired her. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
