The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its appointed tremor. 1 and it throws out its burden, 2 and man cries out, "What has happened to her?" 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 for your Lord will have commanded her (to do so). 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 Whosoever has done even an atom's weight of good will behold it; 7 And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
