3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
Noah called to Us, and We are the Best to answer. 75 And We saved him and his family from the great affliction. 76 and We made his offspring the only survivors. 77 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations to come in later times: 78 Peace on Noah among all men. 79 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 80 Surely he was one of Our truly believing servants. 81 [and so We saved him and those who followed him] and then We caused the others to drown. 82 ۞ And lo! of his persuasion verily was Abraham 83 When he came to his Lord with a pure heart [attached to Allah Alone and none else, worshipping none but Allah Alone true Islamic Monotheism, pure from the filth of polytheism]. 84 When he said unto his father and his folk: What is it that ye worship? 85 Is it a calumny, gods apart from God, that you desire? 86 What think you then of the Lord of all Being?' 87 Then he looked at the stars, looking up once, 88 And said: "I am sick (of what you worship)!" 89 So they turned away from him, and departed. 90 Then turned he to their gods and said: Will ye not eat? 91 “What is the matter with you, that you do not say anything?” 92 Then he turned against them secretly, smiting them with the right hand. 93 whereupon people came to him running. 94 He said: Worship ye that which ye yourselves do carve 95 And Allah has created you and what you make. 96 They said, "Build him a furnace, and throw him into the blazing fire!" 97 They wanted to harm him, but We humiliated them all. 98 He said: 'I will go to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 My Lord, give me one of the righteous.' 100 whereupon We gave him the glad tiding of a boy-child gentle [like himself]? 101 And when he became capable of working with him, Ibrahim said, “O my son, I dreamt that I am sacrificing you therefore now consider what is your opinion”; he said, “O my father! Do what you are commanded! Allah willing, you will soon find me patiently enduring!” 102 Then when the twain had submitted themselves and he had prostrated him upon his temple. 103 We called unto him: O Abraham! 104 you have fulfilled what you were commanded to do in your dream." Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 105 Most surely this is a manifest trial. 106 And We ransomed him with a tremendous sacrifice, 107 and left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 108 Peace be upon Ibrahim! 109 Thus indeed do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 110 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaque (Isaac) a Prophet from the righteous. 112 and We blessed him and Isaac, and from their offspring are some gooddoers, and others who clearly wronged themselves. 113
