The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When Earth is shaken with her (final) earthquake 1 And the earth throws out its burdens, 2 the human being will say (in horror), "What is happening to it?" 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 Because your Lord had inspired her. 5 On that day men will return towards their Lord, in different groups, in order to be shown their deeds. 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
