The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 and produce sparks 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
