Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
