The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
