Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the snorting, panting horses, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
