The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the snorting chargers, 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
