Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
