The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
