The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the chargers panting, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
