The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
