The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the snorting, panting horses, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 And therein raising dust. 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
