Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the snorting courses, 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
