The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The Clatterer! 1 How awesome the sudden calamity! 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 On that Day human beings shall be like scattered moths, 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 So for one whose scales prove heavy, 6 Will have a tranquil life; 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 the Abyss shall be his home. 9 Ah, what will convey unto thee what she is! - 10 A burning fire. 11
