The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The Calamity! 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Calamity is! 3 A day wherein mankind will be as thickly-scattered moths 4 and the mountains shall be like plucked wool-tufts. 5 Then he whose scales weigh heavier 6 will have a most pleasing life. 7 And as for him whose measure of good deeds is light, 8 His abode shall be the abyss. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 A flaming fire! 11
