Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The emulous desire of abundance engrosseth you, 1 Until ye come to the graves. 2 Nay! you shall soon know, 3 Then no! You are going to know. 4 You will certainly have the knowledge of your deeds beyond all doubt. 5 You will surely end up seeing Hell; 6 You would see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then, on that day, you will be questioned about the bounties (of God). 8
God the Almighty always says the truth.
