Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Gross rivalry diverts you, 1 until you reach your graves. 2 You shall know. 3 Again, yes certainly, you will soon realise! 4 You will certainly have the knowledge of your deeds beyond all doubt. 5 you would see the fire of Hell. 6 Then you shall most certainly see it with the eye of certainty; 7 Then on that day you will surely be asked about the verity of pleasures. 8
