Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

YOU ARE OBSESSED by greed for more and more 1 Till you reach the grave. 2 Nay! You shall come to know! 3 Nay, but ye will come to know! 4 Indeed, were you to know the truth with certainty, 5 you would indeed, most surely, behold the blazing fire [of hell]! 6 Then you will surely see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then you will surely be asked that Day about pleasure. 8

Almighty Allah's Truth.
