Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Abundance diverts you, 1 even till you visit the tombs. 2 Lo! presently ye shall know. 3 Again, ye soon shall know! 4 And yet if you knew with positive knowledge 5 that you shall surely see Hell? 6 And again, you shall see it with certainty of sight! 7 then you shall be questioned that day concerning true bliss. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
