The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Woe unto every slandering traducer, 1 Who has gathered wealth and counted it, 2 He thinks that his wealth will immortalise him forever. 3 Nay! he shall most certainly be hurled into the crushing disaster, 4 What shall let you know what the Crusher is? 5 The fire of Allah, kindled, 6 which will rise over the [guilty] hearts: 7 it closes in on them from every side 8 In pillars stretched forth. 9
