The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Ruin is for every open slanderer, backbiter. 1 Who accumulated wealth and hoarded it, counting. 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him last forever! 3 By no means. He will be thrown into Hutama. 4 And what will make you know what the crushing Fire is? 5 Fire of Allah, Kindled, 6 Which penetrates the hearts 7 Surely it shall be closed over upon them, 8 in outstretched columns. 9

True are the words of God the Almighty.
