The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

WOE TO EVERY slanderer, back-biter, 1 who amasses wealth, counting it over, 2 Does he think his wealth will abide for ever with him? 3 No indeed; he shall be thrust into the Crusher; 4 And what will make you know what the crushing Fire is? 5 It is a fierce fire created by God 6 Which mounts directed at the hearts. 7 closed around them 8 in its long columns of flames. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
