The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

WOE TO EVERY slanderer, back-biter, 1 Who hath gathered wealth (of this world) and arranged it. 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever. 3 Nay, he shall be thrown into the Crusher. 4 And what have you understood what the Crushing One is! 5 It is the fire kindled by Allah, 6 Which mounts directed at the hearts. 7 Verily it will close in upon them, 8 In extended columns. 9

True are the words of God the Almighty.
