In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Have you not considered, [O Muhammad], how your Lord dealt with the companions of the elephant? 1 Did He not make their plan go wrong, 2 And He sent against them swarms of birds 3 which smote them with stone-hard blows of chastisement pre-ordained, 4 and He made them like green blades devoured. 5
