Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Have you seen him who denies the Recompense? 1 For that is the one who drives away the orphan 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the poor, 3 So woe to those that pray 4 but whose hearts are not in their prayer. 5 Who dissimulate 6 and refuse to help the needy. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
