Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Destroyed were the hands of Abu Lahab, and he lay utterly doomed. 1 His wealth will not suffice him, neither what he has gained; 2 Surely, he will be cast into a Flaming Fire 3 And his wife, the wood-carrier, 4 upon her neck shall be a rope of palm-fibre. 5

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
