Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Perish the two hands of Abu Lahab (an uncle of the Prophet), and perish he! 1 His wealth did not benefit him in the least, nor did whatever he earned. 2 He will be roasted in the fire, 3 And his wife, the wood-carrier, 4 upon her neck a rope of palm-fibre. 5

Almighty Allah's Truth.
