Surely We have revealed the Book to you with the truth that you may judge between people by means of that which Allah has taught you; and be not an advocate on behalf of the treacherous. 105 And seek forgiveness of Allah. Lo! Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful. 106 Contend not on behalf of such as betray their own souls; for Allah loveth not one given to perfidy and crime: 107 They feel ashamed before men but do not feel ashamed before God, despite His being present with them when they plot at night, uttering things of which He does not approve; and indeed God is fully aware of what they do. 108 You defend them in this life but who will defend them against God on the Day of Judgment and who will be their attorney? 109 And whoever does evil or acts unjustly to his soul, then asks forgiveness of Allah, he shall find Allah Forgiving, Merciful. 110 He who commits sin does so against his own soul. God is all knowing and wise. 111 And whosoever earns a fault or a sin and then casts it upon the innocent, thereby has laid upon himself calumny and manifest sin. 112
