The Key (Al-Faatehah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful 1
[All] praise is [due] to Allah, Lord of the worlds - 2 the Beneficent, the Merciful; 3 The Only Owner (and the Only Ruling Judge) of the Day of Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) 4 You alone we worship, and to You alone turn for help. 5 Direct us on to the Straight Way, 6 The path of those whom Thou hast favoured. Not of those on whom is indignation brought down, nor of the astray. 7
