The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful 1

All praise unto Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. 2 The Beneficent, the Merciful. 3 Lord of the Day of Judgment! 4 It is You we worship and You we ask for help. 5 Keep us on the right path. 6 The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
