The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
A. L. M. 1 That is the Book, wherein is no doubt, a guidance to the godfearing 2 Who believe in [the existence of] that which is beyond the reach of human perception, and are constant in prayer, and spend on others out of what We provide for them as sustenance; 3 And who believe in that which is revealed unto thee (Muhammad) and that which was revealed before thee, and are certain of the Hereafter. 4 It is they who follow the guidance [which comes from their Sustainer]; and it is they, they who shall attain to a happy state! 5 As for those who have rejected (these things), it is all the same to them whether you warn them or do not warn them: they are not going to believe. 6 Allah has sealed their hearts and their ears, and on their eyes is a covering; and for them is a terrible punishment. 7
