The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

AlifLaamMeem. 1 This is the Book; there is no doubt in it. It is a guide for those who are mindful of God, 2 Who believe in the Unknown and fulfil their devotional obligations, and spend in charity of what We have given them; 3 who believe in what has been sent down to thee and what has been sent down before thee, and have faith in the Hereafter; 4 These are on guidance from their Lord, and these they are the blissful ones. 5 BEHOLD, as for those who are bent on denying the truth - it is all one to them whether thou warnest them or dost not warn them: they will not believe. 6 Allah hath set a seal upon their hearts and upon their hearing, and over their sights is a covering; and unto them shall be a torment mighty. 7
