O ye who believe! Seek help in steadfastness and prayer. Lo! Allah is with the steadfast. 153 And say not of those who are slain in the way of Allah: dead. Nay, they are living, but ye perceive not. 154 Be sure We shall try you with something of fear and hunger and loss of wealth and life and the fruits (of your labour); but give tidings of happiness to those who have patience, 155 who, when they are visited by an affliction, say, 'Surely we belong to God, and to Him we return'; 156 are the ones who will have blessings and mercy from their Lord: it is they who are on the right path! 157 ۞ Indeed Safa and Marwah are among the emblems of Allah: it is, therefore, no sin for him, who performs Hajj or `Umrah to the House of AIIah, to run between the two hills; and Allah knows and appreciates him who does any good with a willing heart. 158 Indeed those who hide the clear proofs and the guidance which We sent down, after We made it clear to mankind in the Book – upon them is the curse of Allah and the curse of those who curse. 159 Except those who repent and do righteous deeds, and openly declare (the truth which they concealed). These, I will accept their repentance. And I am the One Who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful. 160 But those who deny, and die disbelieving, bear the condemnation of God and the angels and that of all men, 161 therein dwelling forever; the chastisement shall not be lightened for them; no respite shall be given them. 162 Your God is One God; there is no god but He, the All-merciful, the All-compassionate. 163
